Gentle Fool creates theatre that uses play, imagination and humour to question who we are and imagine who we can be.

Jose Parra is a theatre-maker shaped by the UK independent theatre and fringe scene.

His theatrical language combines physical theatre, text and clown to create intimate shows where humour, play and direct connection with the audience take centre stage. He aims to break linguistic, cultural and physical barriers, creating inclusive international work that connects with diverse audiences.

Alongside his performance work, he teaches physical theatre and clown workshops and has worked with the Theodora Foundation since 2011.
